Animal-protection organization JAR will hold two activities in Shanghai this August. JAR Animal Adoption Day will offer you a chance to adopt a little furry friend.

JAR's adoptable pets are all vaccinated, de-wormed and de-fleaed. Depending on their age, most of the pets are already spayed or neutered. The goal of this activity is to find these animals a loving foster family or a permanent home.

"AROUSE" Techno in Love is a public charity tour organized by GCS Entertainment, Beijing Adoption Day and Don't Eat Friends, cooperating with local animal-protection groups including JAR.

The tour will start on August 8 in Beijing and stop in Jinan, Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenyang and Harbin. This is a charity tour as well as a nationwide party of electronic music, with the aim of advocating animal protection and adopting pets instead of buying. Combining music performance and charity sale, it will be an opportunity for electronic music fans and animal lovers to communicate and have fun.
