Splash Wars: La Tomatina comes to Beijing

On Sunday, July 6, The Bunker party series will be hosting a food fight at outdoors venue 2 Kolegas. There'll be no shortage of ammunition: 1,000kg of tomatoes, watermelons and water balloons. They even claim 'Splash Wars', as it's called, will one-up Spain's famous La Tomatina by adding an 'all-day pool dance party' element to the viscous mix.

After the last tomato has been tossed, make sure to rinse off in one of the on-site showers provided. We're pretty sure no cabbie wants the entire back seat of his car stained red, even if all that tomato juice is good for your skin.

1pm BBQ brunch... because what's the point of taking part in a food fight if you've got an empty stomach?

4pm First food fight

6pm Second food fight

9pm Ceasefire
