The American crime drama "Breaking Bad" took the gold award of the Magnolia Best Foreign TV series, the organizers of the 20th Shanghai TV Festival announced on Thursday.
South Korean TV series "My Love from the Star" won the silver award.
Jang Tae-yu, director of the Korean series, and scriptwriter Park Ji-eun will attend the awards ceremony on June 13 and share their experiences with domestic TV producers.
The Magnolia Best Foreign TV series award was established in 2008 to enhance international cultural exchanges in TV production. Officials from the festival's organizing committee said they will provide a platform of pitching, filmmaking and marketing for more original co-productions.
