Safety conscious supervisors at Fengjing Water Town in Jinshan District have set strict limits on the number of people allowed to visit its new upside-down house attraction.
"There is a chance that some people will become dizzy when they're inside the house, so in the interest of safety we have set a limit of 20 visitors at any one time," said Huai Xigen, director of the folk painting village where the house is located.
"We will also warn people with high blood pressure against entering the house," he said.
Designed by Polish architects in the style of properties from their home country, the 200-square-meter, two-story house, which cost US$800,000 to build, is the first of its kind in China.
Construction began in November and the house is scheduled to open on April 25.
Admission will be 30 yuan (US$4.80) per person, and no more than 1,000 people will be allowed to visit per day, Huai said.
