Knife attacks left 5 injured in Jing'an Villa

A man hurt five people with knife around 11am today in Jing'an Villa in downtown Shanghai's Jing'an District. The case was probably triggered by neighbor dispute as an initial investigation unveiled.

Five injured males are currently treated in the city's Huashan Hospital and Changzheng Hospital, according to Xinmin.cn.

Blood stain stretching several meters long can be seen at the spot. A neighbor said stormy quarrel has been heard about 11am while another one said argument was also heard yesterday.

The armed suspect has been controlled by police. The cause is still under investigation.
