Local visitors to Indonesia will be able to apply for visas onboard flights from Shanghai to Jakarta starting today, the Indonesia immigration authority announced on Friday.
Indonesia immigration officers will check and issue visas for passengers on flights of Garuda airlines. Passengers need to buy a US$25 visa application voucher of 30-day duration at Pudong International Airport when checking in. Immigration officers will use mobile card readers for the passport clearance in the air for passengers holding visa vouchers.
