New bridge over Suzhou Creek

The new Jiangning Road Bridge under construction has its main structure joined together and is expected to open to traffic in December.

 The entirely new bridge over the Suzhou Creek is built on the site of the original one, which was demolished in 2011 after 40 years of service because heavy traffic had rendered it structurally dangerous, officials said.
