(Ecns.cn)--Apple Inc. may launch its largest flagship store in Asia at Beijing's iconic Wangfujing Street, responding to the shopping district's ambitious expansion plan, an insider told the Jinghua Times on Monday.
According to a person in charge of the construction, the Beijing APM, a landmark shopping mall located in the heart of Wangfujing, is now being prepared.
The new store, if opened, would be Apple's third in Beijing and may go into operation in the second quarter of next year, the insider added.
