Moonscape photos shot from China's Chang'e-3 (2/12)

Photo taken by the landform camera on the Chang'e-3 moon lander on Dec. 22, 2013 shows the Yutu moon rover during Chang'e-3 lunar probe mission's first lunar day circle. Chinese Academy of Sciences released a group of photos of the moonscape by the cameras on China's lunar probe Chang'e-3 Friday. Chang'e-3, with the country's first moon rover onboard, landed on the moon on Dec. 14, 2013, marking the first time that China has sent a spacecraft to soft land on the surface of an extraterrestrial body.
