Annual flower basket for National Day installed at Tiananmen Square

A giant flower basket was spotted being installed for the upcoming National Day holiday at Tiananmen Square in Beijing, capital of China on early Friday morning. 　

After three hours of hoisting and installation, the main body of the basket with a diameter of 12 meters was perfectly connected to the base, while the huge basket with the theme "blessings to China" began to take shape. 　

Grain stalks were added to the main floral arrangement for the first time to represent the theme of bumper harvest in Beijing. 　 The construction work commenced on September 15 and is expected to be completed by September 25, according to the Beijing Municipal Forestry and Parks Bureau.
