The 2023 World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference kicked off in Beijing's Shunyi District on Thursday, aiming to promote the commercialization of ICVs.
The China International New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Exhibition was also set up during the conference, with the latest models, cutting-edge technologies, innovative products, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei intelligent connected vehicle cluster and a series of other events.
This year's conference includes an opening ceremony, two forums, four summits and multiple special events.
Data show that China has opened more than 20,000 kilometers of test roads for ICVs, with a total test mileage of more than 70 million kilometers. Demonstration applications in multiple scenarios, such as autonomous-driving taxis, trunk-line logistics, and autonomous delivery, have been developed orderly.
