Butterfly Valley in southwest China embraces butterfly boom

Butterflies are exploding as over 320 species are emerging in the Butterfly Valley in Jinping County of southwest China's Yunnan Province.

Experts estimate that about 100 million caterpillars have morphed into butterflies recently. The valley, with dense forests and adequate humidity, is home to some rare butterfly species.
