Fish scale-shaped ice floes on Yellow River

Fish scale-shaped ice floes floating along a section of the Yellow River has created a magnificent scenery in winter in Yonghe County, north China's Shanxi Province.

As temperature dropped, a large area of ice floes appeared on the Qiankun Bay along the Yellow River in Yonghe County, Shanxi Province.

Ice jams normally occur in a section of the Yellow River during the early winter as China's second-longest river begins to freeze over.
