(ECNS) -- An innovative recognition machine has been put into use in Shanghai's Sijing Hospital, enabling the elderly without smart phones to quickly enter within a few seconds.
The machine can scan their health QR codes, ID cards and healthcare cards, and upload real-time data.
"This machine is convenient for the elderly without smart phones. It can recognize the health QR code, ID card and healthcare card.," said Zhuang Qinlin, Chief of Medical Department, Sijing Hospital, Songjiang District.
Elderly people without smart phones can't provide health QR code and this machine provides an effective solution by scanning their ID cards or healthcare cards.
Errors caused by patients who try to enter the hospital quickly by showing pre-stored screenshots of health QR codes will be avoided as well.
This machine has been put into use in major hospitals in Shanghai, which is convenient for the prevention and control of COVID-19, as well as for citizens seeking for medical treatment and medicine.
