(ECNS) -- The first autonomous driving electric bus in Shandong underwent tests in Jinan City, Shandong Province, Jan. 22.
The test was based on 5G communication technology.
Its integrated system is equipped with laser radar, HD camera, navigation and positioning, intelligent computing and other electronic gear.
Safety personnel monitored progress during the road test.
In future, the vehicle is expected to be used as airport car ferry, in large communities, along BRT roads and in other situations.
