New batch of supplies from mainland for Hong Kong fire relief efforts put in use

Hong Kong continues to receive disaster relief supplies coordinated by the central government, Chris Tang Ping-keung, secretary for security of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government told China Media Group (CMG) on Thursday.

Among these supplies are lighting drones, dual-light reconnaissance drones, exoskeletons and firefighting boots, which are effectively assisting the Hong Kong Fire Services Department's work in rescue operations, Tang said.

A new batch of supplies from mainland including firefighter goggles and waterproof gloves arrived in Hong Kong on Wednesday and has been put in to use.
