(ECNS) -- Southwest China's Xishuangbanna Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station recently opened a "green life channel" three times, successfully securing critical emergency treatment for three patients, including both Chinese and Myanmar nationals.
At around 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. on April 16, Chinese officers on duty at the Mandong station received two emergency calls from travelers abroad. One reported that a Chinese truck driver had been injured in a traffic accident abroad, suffering chest compression; the other that a Myanmar national had sustained facial burns from formic acid while working, both requiring urgent entry into China for medical treatment.

At 4 p.m. on April 19, during a routine shift, officers received another emergency call from abroad stating that a Myanmar national had been involved in a traffic accident and was unconscious, with the situation extremely critical.
Upon receiving each call, the Mandong station immediately activated its emergency protocol and opened the "green life channel." Officers completed identity verification within five minutes, while Xishuangbanna Customs granted simultaneous clearance. Coordination with a Chinese hospital ensured a smooth medical transfer.
All three patients are now out of danger.
