China at the forefront of global green transition with new energy exports

(ECNS) -- According to data released by General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) on April 14, the country’s green transformation in manufacturing continues to gather strong momentum, with new energy products playing an increasingly important role in the global green transition. 

In the first quarter of 2025, China’s exports of wind turbines, lithium batteries, and electric vehicles (EVs) increased by 43.2%, 18.8%, and 8.2%, respectively.
