China's National Immigration Administration issued a notice on Tuesday, alerting foreign nationals about fraudulent websites targeting users of the newly launched online Arrival Card submission service, which aims to facilitate entry into China without any fees.

The NIA emphasized that the online Arrival Card system, implemented on November 20, is an innovative initiative to streamline immigration procedures for foreign visitors, with no charges incurred.

It urged applicants to complete their submissions exclusively through official channels, including the NIA's official website, government service platforms, the "National Immigration Administration Government Service Platform 12367" app, WeChat (Alipay) mini-programs, or by scanning the designated Arrival Card QR code.

For foreigners unable to submit online, alternative options are available upon arrival at Chinese ports by using on-site smart devices to complete the digital submission or filling out a paper Arrival Card.

The notice specifically warned against fake websites posing as official Arrival Card platforms, designed to defraud travelers, and stressed that only authorized channels guarantee a secure and free application process, ensuring smooth entry clearance.
