It marks the first of its kind in China to obtain a type certificate and production license, allowing it to conduct commercial operations.

With a maximum speed of 120 kilometers per hour, the two-seat aircraft boasts a maximum takeoff weight of 630 kilograms, a flight endurance of 150 minutes, a maximum range of 280 kilometers, and battery swap time of 5 minutes. The aircraft can be used in pilot training, passenger transportation, low altitude sightseeing, and patrol.

Hefei has a strong foundation in advanced manufacturing. The company will continue to promote the development of its transportation sector, including low-altitude tourism, aviation sports, and logistics, said Shi Hong, company co-founder.

So far, Hefei has gathered more than 200 aviation enterprises specializing in components, communication technology, and more, initially forming an industrial cluster that integrates research and development, manufacturing, sales, operations, and services.
