China's top political advisor Wang Huning underlined on Tuesday Beijing's readiness to work with Hanoi to jointly follow paths of socialism that suit the national conditions of both China and Vietnam, and accelerate their modernization process.

Wang, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, or CPPCC, met Pham Minh Chinh, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and Prime Minister of Vietnam, in Beijing.

He called for efforts to be made by both nations to build a bilateral community with a shared future that holds strategic significance, saying that the CPPCC National Committee is willing to strengthen solidarity, coordination and mutual learning with the Vietnamese side to better serve the two countries' socialist cause.

Chinh commended China's remarkable achievements in becoming a global growth engine.

He expressed Vietnam's eagerness to draw inspiration from Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and to effectively implement the consensus of the top leaders of both parties.

He also emphasized the importance of deepening the unity and friendship between Vietnam and China, with the aim of taking bilateral relations to new heights.
