The 460-meter-long and 3-meter-wide bridge, built along the natural cliff north of Eling Park, officially opened to the public on Wednesday. The bridge rises up to 28 meters high and resembles a ribbon winding through the mountains when viewed from above. The footbridge is part of Chongqing’s 28-kilometer Half-Mountain Cliffside Trail system, which connects five urban parks and nearly 30 cultural sites, integrating sightseeing, history, leisure, and fitness.
