10,000-metric ton-class river-sea vessel completes maiden voyage to Chongqing(1/9)

Carrying over 5,000 metric tons of soy beans, departed from Zhoushan Port in east China's Zhejiang Province on April 24, 2024. It traveled via the Chongqing-Zhoushan river-sea direct route, which links directly the municipality in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River with the sea.

With a maximum capacity of 9,832 metric tons, the ship is 130 meters long, 16.20 meters wide, and 8.5 meters deep with a design draft of 6.1 meters.
