A cargo truck’s cabin hangs on a slip road in Yuxi City, Southwest China’s Yunnan Province, July 26, 2018. Having lost control of the truck on a 27-kilometer-long downward slope, known as the "death road" on the G8511 Expressway, the driver steered the truck towards a slip road, finally bringing the vehicle to a stop after crashing it into a barricade. The truck’s cabin hung from the cliff road and its two drivers were thrown out, but they fell safely onto a huge net, built by local police in 2015 to catch people after similar car accidents in the past. The net, checked and updated regularly, has saved the lives of at least five people, local police said. (Photo/VCG)
