(ECNS) -- The 2026 World Robot Conference kicked off in Beijing on Wednesday, bringing together over 300 domestic and international enterprises showcasing more than 3,000 advanced robotic products.
Among the newcomers, Shanghai-based startup Morphi Robot demonstrated its MORPHI KINO wheeled robot which performed a continuous 15-minute routine of household chores. The company plans to pilot these helper robots in hotels within three years before introducing them to household markets.
In the industrial sector, Chongqing Neuromeka unveiled an automated robotic welding system designed for shipyards. The system has already been successfully deployed in South Korean shipyards, underscoring China’s growing capacity in providing smart manufacturing solutions to international partners.
Organized by the Chinese Institute of Electronics and the World Robotics Cooperation Organization, the conference serves as a vital platform for international technology exchange and market collaboration, highlighting the integration of human-robot symbiosis and industrial needs.
