(ECNS) -- The Red Cross Society of China has allocated an additional 5,500 relief items to flood-hit areas in Henan Province to meet further emergency needs, according to the organization’s official WeChat account.
The supplies, including family relief kits and cotton blankets, were dispatched on Sunday to support the relocation and resettlement of affected residents and help meet their basic living needs.
So far, the China Red Cross has sent a total of 9,000 relief items to flood-hit areas in Henan.
