(ECNS)--The 18th You Bring Charm to the World Award Ceremony was held in Beijing on Wednesday to honor outstanding ethnic Chinese individuals who have made significant global contributions.
Top honors went to Chinese medicine expert Zhang Boli, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award, and veteran filmmaker Sylvia Chang, who was presented the Special Tribute Award.
Zhang said the global rise of traditional Chinese medicine rests on its proven clinical effectiveness, preventive philosophy of “treating pre illness,” and growing scientific validation.
Cai Gao, 80, winner of the 2026 Hans Christian Andersen Award for Illustration, said her inspiration draws from the richness of Chinese culture.
Co-hosted by Phoenix TV in partnership with China News Service and other Chinese media outlets, the You Bring Charm to the World Award Ceremony recognizes outstanding ethnic Chinese achievers across all fields who have made global impacts, to inspire future generations.
