(ECNS) -- China exported 1.043 million vehicles in July, up 81.3% year on year, marking the second consecutive month exports exceeded one million units, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said Wednesday.
New energy vehicle exports reached 553,000, up 5.7% from June and 145.5% year on year. NEVs accounted for more than half of China’s vehicle exports for the second straight month.

The association said China’s integrated automotive supply chain, along with rapidly evolving smart-driving and in-car interaction technologies, has helped support export growth and adapt vehicles to overseas market needs.
