(ECNS) -- Beishan yellow peaches from Qingtian County, Lishui City of East China's Zhejiang Province, were shipped to Serbia on Friday, marking the first export of Zhejiang-grown yellow peaches to the European country.

The shipment totaled 105 kilograms, with each peach priced at 10 euros.

Growers said export-bound peaches undergo precise sorting and standardized testing, with Lishui Customs providing full process supervision and quarantine certificates.

Beishan's annual fresh fruit output exceeds 250,000 kilograms, valued at about 5 million yuan ($741,000).

Future markets include Spain, Uganda, Singapore and Saudi Arabia.
