(ECNS) -- The Communist Party of China (CPC) is committed to the development of the country and strives for the happiness of the Chinese people, said South Korean student Bae Eun Yeong in an interview with China News Network.

“China is developing rapidly!” said Bae Eun Yeong who studies at the Institute of Communication Studies of Communication University of China at present. She has been studying and living in China for one year. Talking about her experience in China, she said that her study life in China is very happy, and she likes the “diverse food and colorful cultural events” in China.

Bae Eun Yeong said that when she first arrived in China, she found the country is totally different from South Korea. She mentioned that mobile payment is ubiquitous in China, and even when she went to the countryside, people were familiar with the payment way.

“In the countryside of South Korea, some people don't have smartphones, they just have cash,” said Bae Eun Yeong, “but in China, both the old and young know how to scan QR codes to pay.” She believes that China develops rapidly in mobile payment.

Studying and living in China has also changed some of Bae Eun Yeong's previous impressions of China. She said that China develops faster than she thought, especially in the field of science and technology, “Its technologies, especially AI, are very advanced.”

Bae Eun Yeong, who came to China for her love for the Chinese language, also praised China's international student policy. “China is very friendly to international students”, she said, adding that it provides them with diverse study and exchange opportunities and has created an open and tolerant atmosphere for international communication as well.

With her experience in China, Bae Eun Yeong said that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC), China is developing very fast. “The efforts made by the CPC in various fields are “very important for the development of the country and society,” she said.
