(ECNS) -- China-made table football saw soaring sales on cross-border e-commerce platforms as the 2022 FIFA World Cup opened in the Gulf state Qatar.
According to data from the international edition of alibaba.com, a shopping website in China, the sales of peripheral World Cup products had surged recently.
Among these products, sales of goalkeepers, table football, and World Cup trophies and medals surged by 323 percent, 444 percent, and 126 percent year-on-year respectively.
In Yiwu, the world's largest wholesale market in China, orders of trophies and other souvenirs in the first half of this year has reached the same level of last year.
