(ECNS) -- A chef in Fuling Wine Town of Chongqing has invited lonely locals to enjoy "giant dumplings" for free.
One giant dumpling weighed about 5 kg, containing 50 dumplings with the connotation of "reunion."
More than 150 people, including sanitation workers, empty-nesters and left-behind children from around the town enjoyed the giant dumplings at long tables.
It's the third year that this long-table dinner has been held in the town.
Eating dumplings is also a tradition for Chinese people during Winter Solstice, the 22nd solar term.
