(ECNS) - A Southern Airlines plane made an emergency landing at Changshui International Airport in Kunming City, Southwest China's Yunnan Province after a passenger fell into coma on Tuesday morning.

The CZ307 flight was on route from Guangzhou in Guangdong Province to Amsterdam, the Netherlands when the passenger became unconscious.

The passenger was out of danger when the plane landed but still had high blood pressure. He was transferred to a hospital for treatment.

A staff member at Southern Airlines said the plane had no time to dump its fuel before making the landing and a thorough check revealed no damage to the plane.

The flight left the airport at 10:30 am on Tuesday.
