Chinese FM to visit Middle East, N Africa

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Palestine, Israel, Algeria, Morocco and Saudi Arabia from Dec. 17 to 26 as a guest of his counterparts in those countries, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei announced on Thursday.

Wang will discuss bilateral ties with the leaders and foreign ministers of those countries, elaborate on China's stance on Middle East issues and policies concerning Arabic nations, including President Xi Jinping's latest proposals, Hong said.
