The photo shows a narrow canyon with potholes in Jiangjin District in southwest China’s Chongqing province. Discovered by geologists from Chongqing University and University of Montreal, the 2,000-meter-long canyon is a landform which is rarely seen in China. The canyon is shaped over ten thousand years as tumbling streams carrying sediments and boulders cut into rock layers. (Photo/VCG)
