Ancient coins are found during the renovation of an old house in Chacun Village, Fuliang County, Jingdezhen City, East China’s Jiangxi Province. Archeologists excavated approximately 300,000 coins, including some from the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127) and Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), from the site and they weighed 5.6 tons in total, said Feng Ruqin, the curator of the county’s museum.
