Orionid meteor shower set for this week(1/4)

On October 21, the dazzling Orionid meteor shower is set to light up the night sky. It's not just known for its streaks of shooting stars, but it may also accidentally surprise spectator with a single exceptionally bright star that burns brighter than all the others. It expected to be visible every year from around October 2 through November 7, when the Earth passes debris from Halley's Comet, which last visited Earth in 1986.
