Tibetans celebrate the Bathing Festival at the Lhasa River in Lhasa City, the capital of Southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, Sept. 12, 2017. The festival is usually celebrated from July 6 to 12 in the lunar calendar, or from Sept. 9 to 15 this year. The one-week festival has a history of more than 800 years. Traditionally, people bath to wash away potential disease and bring good luck. (Photo: China News Service/He Penglei)
