A series of aerial photos show the colorful and beautiful scenery of Tarim River in China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the early autumn. China began investing more than 10 billion yuan in comprehensive control of the Tarim River basin in 2000. Ecological water conveyance has been carried out into Tarim River 18 times. A large amount of salinized land has been improved, and the area of sand has gradually decreased.
