The harvest season for hickories in Yaoshan Township begins with the arrival of "White Dew", the 15th solar term on traditional Chinese lunar calendar. Local villagers have kept the tradition of beating off hickories during the harvest, which will last for half a month. Having a hickory production area of more than 60,000 Mu (about 4,000 hectares), Yaoshan Township is dubbed the "hometown of hickory in Zhejiang". (Xinhua/Xu Yu)
