Lama Ngawang Peljor puts on his robe in his dormitory at the Rongpu Monastery near Mount Qomolangma in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, May 17, 2017. Rongpu Monastery, the world's highest monastery at the altitude of over 5,000 meters, located at the foot of Mount Qomolangma in Tingri County. The 36-year-old Ngawang Peljor has practiced Buddhism in the monastery for 15 years. He lives a simple and regular monastic life here. Getting up at 8:30 a.m., he chants after breakfast till noon. He keeps chanting till 4 p.m. after one-hour break for lunch. After dinner, he rests for a hour and continues chanting till 11:30 p.m. (Xinhua/Purbu Zhaxi)
