The third large-scale demining operation is ongoing at the border between China and Vietnam in Yunnan province. Compared to the two former operations, the latest one is the most complicated and dangerous yet. In the previous operations, a soldier named Cheng Junhui sacrificed his life, and 30 more soldiers were injured; 12 became disabled. The operation is being conducted by a local demining team of four, who have already worked for over a month.
