Lu Yefa, 89, reads Geng Lu Bu, a local sea manual written in Hainan dialect, in Caotang village of Qionghai city in South China's Hainan province on June 14, 2016. This kind of local sea manual records the life of Hainan fishermen at sea, but provides valuable maritime information. The oldest can be traced back to the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) and it flourished during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). (Photo: China News Service/Luo Yunfei)
