Chinese naval fleet passes through Kiel Canal (1/6)

The taskforce 152 of the Chinese PLA Navy passes through the Kiel Canal in Germany on October 12, 2015. It is the first time that a Chinese naval fleet passes the important international watercourse. The taskforce, known as the 20th escort taskforce of the PLA Navy, is composed of the guided-missile destroyer Jinan, the guided-missile frigate Yiyang and the comprehensive supply ship Qiandaohu. It kicked off its global voyage on August 23 and has successively visited the Republic of the Sudan, Egypt, Denmark, Finland, and Poland. (Photo: China News Service/ Dai Zongfeng)
