The photos in black and white can be regarded as photographer Li Jianhui's understandings of Mother Nature. Li said landscape photography, with its emphasis on beauty, should express the things that are invisible or unnoticed by other people in the unique photography language. A brilliant piece of work is supposed to be beautiful and have something in common with other photos and also carry its own style. It should be the vivid expression of a photographer's personality, and should be unique and impossible to be replicated.
