A commuter bullet train prepares to depart from a railway station during the evening rush hours in Beijing, Jan 22, 2015. Few passengers take the commuter trains connecting Beijing and Yanjiao, a town about 35 km east to Beijing in Hebei province, after the line began service on Jan 12. Inter-city commuters said they are not satisfied with the time and fares, leaving the attendance rate less than 30 percent. Yanjiao, which literally means the suburb of Beijing, is home to over half a million residents, many of them moved to the small town in recent years after the house prices in Beijing skyrocketed.
