Qian Yanhong, known as the basketball girl, wins the women's 100m breaststroke during the Para Games in Yunnan province, Sep 1, 2014. The teenager, from Luliang county in Yunan, lost both legs in a car accident in 2000 but rather than give up and lose hope she put half a basketball under her waist and learned to walk using her arms. Qian began her professional swimming training in 2007 and became one of the first members of Yunnan Youth Swimming Club. She won three gold medals in last year's Yunnan Para Games and took a gold and two silver medals at the National Swimming Championship for the Disabled (Under 18) in 2009. [Photo/www.yunnan.cn]
