China, US military medical ships exchange visit(2)

Chinese military medical officers and an anesthetist from the US hospital ship Mercy make steamed buns on the hospital ship Peace Ark of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) on July 16, 2014. The PLA hospital ship Peace Ark and the US hospital ship Mercy, which are participating in the 2014 Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) naval exercise, exchanged six medical personnel in three batches respectively for a four day visit. The mutual visit aims to give officers from both sides a direct insight into each other's culture as well as experience in battlefield rescue, disaster relief, and problem solving.
