Landmarks across the globe, such as London's Eye, Tokyo Tower, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, CN Tower and Niagara Falls in Canada, are lighting up in red to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

On Tuesday, Chinese New Year's Eve, the 2025 Chinese New Year celebration officially began at the Prime Minister's Office in Thailand, featuring live performances by artists from China. Meanwhile, in Malaysia, people from various ethnic groups welcomed the Chinese New Year on Jonker Street in Malacca. The area was adorned with Chinese New Year decorations, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

Also known as the Spring Festival, the Chinese New Year of 2025 falls on Wednesday and 2025 is the Year of the Snake, according to the Chinese zodiac.
