As Chinese New Year approaches, splendid lanterns are illuminating night in east China.
In Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong Province, Baotu Spring was lit up by spectacular lanterns to greet the Chinese New Year on Wednesday.
The 43rd Baotu Spring Lantern Show is scheduled to kick off in Jinan on Feb. 10, the first day of the Year of the Dragon.
In Jurong, east China's Jiangsu Province, red lanterns illuminated the Qianhua ancient village in Baohua Mountain National Forest Park.
The lantern fair is a dazzling display of well-designed dragon lanterns, adding festive atmosphere to the ancient village.
